The main equity indices finished lower for the third straight session on Tuesday due to fluctuations in the local stock markets. The NSE Nifty 50 droppedby 261.55 points, or 1.05%, closing at 24,683.9, while the BSE Sensex declined by 872.98 points, or 1.06%, to end at 81,186.44.

Foreign portfolio investors remained net sellers of Indian stocks for the second consecutive day on Tuesday, selling shares valued at Rs 10,016.1 crore, the largest amount since February 28, based on the provisional figures from the National Stock Exchange.

  • EBITDA also increased by 143% from Rs 182 crore to Rs 443 crore (Bloomberg estimate: Rs 403 crore).
  • Margins grew from 3.9% to 4.3% (Bloomberg estimate: 3.7%).
  • Net profit also increased by 322% to Rs 401 crore compared to Rs 95 crore (Bloomberg estimates: Rs 217 crore).

J Kumar Infra Q4 Earnings (Cons, YoY)

Whirlpool Of India Q4 Earnings (Cons, YoY)

  • EBITDA was up 27.4% at Rs 183 crore versus Rs 144 crore (Bloomberg estimate: Rs 157 crore),
  • Margin was at 9% versus 8.3% (Bloomberg estimate: 7.9%),
  • Net profit was up 53.6% at Rs 119 crore versus Rs 77.6 crore (Bloomberg estimate: Rs 100 crore).
  • Revenue was up 15.6% at Rs 2,005 crore versus Rs 1,734 crore (Bloomberg estimate: Rs 1,990 crore).

  • Senores Pharma: The business has an agreement with Wockhardt to purchase its US FDA-approved ANDA for Enalapril Maleate Tablets through an arm. Enalapril is used to treat heart failure and hypertension.
  • United Breweries: By acquiring an extra facility from Ilios Breweries in Andhra Pradesh, the company is expanding its manufacturing capacity.
  • State Bank of India: The business authorized the issuance of foreign currency bonds in several tranches for a maximum of $3 billion.
  • Astra Microwave Products: On a preferential basis, the company issued convertible warrants valued at Rs 174 crore.
